The peacock is the national Bird of our Country India.

On 26 January 1963 The Peacock was as a National Bird. And from that day Peacock was National Bird of India. Apart from of India, Myanmar also has a National Bird of Peacock.
The peacock was very Wonderful and beautiful creature. The crown of the Peacock is Very peacock ubiquitous and also eats insects, flowers,seeds, small rodents and lizards, so its is  also said to a good friends of Farmer.
The Peacock(male bird) is more beautiful colourful and bright then the peacock(stitch bird).it is a very big bird with big wings but can not fly and high long. peacocks like to live in a herd, and in a herd, they work for 8 to 10 Peacocks. peacock dance is a famous dance. Peacock dances are performed in peacock groups or when they are performing month of  saavan. 
At that time they are seen more and more and spread their wings from the time of dance.
Peacock feathers are larger then peacock feathers.when the peacock has drink the peacock's peacock conceive, then the peacock conceives.The peacock voice is not very distracting. Peacock feathers used to make purses, jackets, and many other beautiful things. 
Peacock hunting in India was completely Banned by the wildlife Act in 1972. Peacock is also given religious importance in Hindu society. Lord Shiva's elder son Kartikeya is riding a peacock and Vishnu's head crown is also Peacock. let me tell you that in the history of Chandragupta Maurya  the coin used to be made on one side of its coin.
